Traveling with Wegovy turned out to be more stressful than I expected. I found it difficult to plan around the medication and wasn’t confident I understood what I needed to do while away from home. The information I had saved didn’t answer all my questions, so I contacted my care team before leaving.
Although their guidance helped, I still spent much of the trip worrying about my bag, the timing, and whether I had prepared correctly. I expected Wegovy to fit more easily into my routine, but even a short work trip felt complicated. I was disappointed by how much extra planning the product seemed to require and frustrated that I had to seek additional guidance to feel prepared. I wish the instructions had made travel considerations clearer from the start.
